This is my parents' Jack Russell, Fifi. She's ten years old.
My parents went into isolation early, so for more than a month Fifi has not been able to take her daily walk. The substitute activity is chasing her red ball up and down the driveway.
I really wish I had this on video. Fifi chases and fights with the ball until she tires herself out which doesn't take very long. Exhausted, she then falls asleep actually lying on top of it.
The simple satisfaction one can take from a necessary substitute.
